The one without a storyline

Just ten pictures taken in the last two weeks, in a chronological order

The one without a storyline
I knew I would see elephants from up close, but probably not that close. Temples in Chiang Mai may be the main reason to visit, but you should definitely save time to explore the nature around.
If you ever plan a visit to Chiang Mai’s farmers market, definitely stop at the JingJai Gallery
I found Bangkok’s nightlife away from the main hotspots fascinating. The fact that I can blend in with the locals probably helps a lot. This might be a story for another time.
While it’s a bit rough, I liked that it was well connected with public transport, and that it has infinite food options all around. I would very probably pick Chinatown again if I had to come back.
The narrow backstreets make this type of pictures almost too obvious, but I’ll still take them.
Visiting any city’s contemporary or modern art museum has been a thing for me, long before I got on this trip. I’m glad I could add Bangkok’s MOCA to my list. Another easy recommendation.
DPR is a south korean record label I knew and heard about, and that made it to some of my playlists. Never thought I’d ever see them live, especially during this trip, but I was wrong.
Bangkok was the first city of this trip where I was able to experience a proper public transport system, and I liked it a lot (yes public transport can be enjoyable, if well designed)
I left Thailand last week and I am now writing from Siem Reap in Cambodia. I went to Angkor Wat for the second time in my life, and still find it challenging to photograph.
While Angkor Wat is the one you kinda have to visit, I think Ta Phrom is the one you shouldn’t miss. It will make you feel like an explorer straight from a movie or a video game.
